Amanda S. Fenlon

  • Amanda Salvaggio Fenlon was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and currently lives in New York, New York. Fenlon earned a BFA in Studio Art and Art History from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and a MA from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. She has also studied at the School of Visual Arts and completed the Certificate Program at the National Academy School in New York. Fenlon’s work has been exhibited at Castor Gallery, the National Academy, and N.A.W.A. Gallery in New York, as well as salon exhibitions in Charlotte, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina. In 2016, Fenlon’s “pour series” paintings were presented in a dual exhibition at Claire Elizabeth Gallery in New Orleans. This summer, Fenlon’s work was shown at the Jamestown Art Center and Atelier Newport in Rhode Island. Her work is represented by Claire Elizabeth Gallery and Atelier Newport.

  • Lady Stardust sang his songs of darkness and disgrace. It's a very modern world, but nobody's perfect. Put another log on the fire for me, I've made some breakfast and coffee. I can stare for a thousand years. It's a moving world, but that's no reason to shoot some of those missiles. I'm floating in a most peculiar way.
